PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS LAND IN INDIANA
The Presidential campaigns have officially arrived in Indiana. Candidates are preparing for stops in Indiana ahead of the May 3 primary, including a stop by Donald Trump on Wednesday. Trump's presidential campaign has confirmed that he will hold a rally Wednesday at 3 PM at the Elements Financial Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the State Fairgrounds. On Monday, Representative Jim Clyburn of South Carolina was in Indianapolis to help launch “African Americans for Hillary” in Indiana. Clyburn was joined by a number of local African American leaders, pushing Hoosiers to vote for Hillary Clinton in the May 3 primary. Ted Cruz will be in Indianapolis on Thursday attending the Indiana GOP spring dinner in downtown Indianapolis. And campaign offices for Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders have sprung up all over the state in recent weeks. In the end, Indiana’s delegates are what will matter most. Indiana is the only state holding its primary on May 3rd. It’s widely expected that all of the presidential candidates will stop in the Hoosier state before the primary.
