CITY OF WABASH COMPETING FOR $500,000 REVITALIZATION GRANT
The City of Wabash is in a race with a town in Oregon to win a contest that will earn them a $500,000 Main Street revitalization grant. With only a little more than day to go, Wabash is down over 3,000 votes to their competitor, Silverton, Oregon. The contest, sponsored by Minnesota-based Deluxe Corporation, will award $500,000 worth of marketing services, business advice and other support and improvements to the winner. The winner is decided by how many votes they receive. Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee tweeted his endorsement for Wabash in the competition saying that “Hoosiers help Hoosiers” and “Let’s get together and help Wabash.” Voting ends Tuesday night at midnight. You can vote for Wabash today and tomorrow on each one of your devices at www.smallbusinessrevolution.org.
