LATEST CLEAN TEAM INVESTIGATION NETS THREE ARRESTS

A recent investigation by the CLEAN Team resulted in the arrests of three people: Shana Kunkle, 21, of Peru, and Gregory Yike, 25, and Nicholas Army, 31, both from Logansport.  Officers responded to a reported fight at South Hilltop Drive in Peru. While at the apartment officers allegedly observed evidence that Yike had purportedly attempted to strangle Kunkle.  They also observed indicators of possible illegal drug use. During a subsequent search of the apartment, officers allegedly found synthetic marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Army was incarcerated in the Miami County Jail for possession of drug paraphernalia. Kunkle was incarcerated in the Miami County Jail for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, assisting a criminal, possession of a synthetic look-a-like substance, and possession of paraphernalia. Yike was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and strangulation.
