NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LETTER CARRIERS' STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE IS TOMORROW

Tomorrow is the 24th annual National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. The annual food drive has grown into a national effort that provides assistance to the millions of Americans struggling to put food on the table. You can leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox and it will be delivered to a local food bank. The Stamp Out Hunger food drive, held on the second Saturday in May, has become the nation’s largest single-day food drive. Last year’s drive collected approximately 71 million pounds of non-perishable food donations. The food drive’s national partners are the U.S. Postal Service, the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, United Way Worldwide, the AFL-CIO and Valassis.
