LOGANSPORT NIGHT AT JACKRABBITS FRIDAY

Logansport baseball fans are invited to take part in the initial “Logansport Night” at Kokomo’s new baseball stadium.
On Friday night, Mayor Dave Kitchell will throw out the first pitch for the game between the Kokomo Jackrabbits and the Springfield Sliders. More than two dozen Logansport city employees and their families have purchased tickets for the game. The start time is 7:05 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and include participation in a “high-five tunnel” before the game, a post-game base run for children, an autograph session and a post-game movie.
“Logansport and Kokomo are both cities with long baseball histories,” Mayor Kitchell said today. “We’re glad we were approached to take part in this event. Logansport residents who haven’t seen the stadium yet will be very impressed, and our congratulations go out to Mayor Greg Goodnight and Kokomo city officials who were able to make the stadium and the franchise a reality. We hope Logansport residents will join us for a fun-filled family evening.”
Information on the team and ticket availability is available by contacting Samantha Ruekert at (414) 908-6369 or at samathar@mkesports.com.
