SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT INVESTIGATING SERIOUS CRASH ON LOGANSPORT ROAD

The Cass County Sheriff’s office is investigating a serious crash that occurred this morning on Logansport Road. Officials were dispatched at approximately 7:30AM to a personal injury crash on Logansport Road just east of 48th Street, where a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Blake Callaway of Logansport, and a Ford Ranger, driven by Jesse Leazenby had collided. Callway was found in the middle of the road and was transported first to Community Howard Regional in Kokomo, then later airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Leazenby was extricated from his vehicle and taken to Logansport Memorial Hospital, then transported to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Both drivers were in critical condition.
