Woman Arrested after Attempting to Smuggle Controlled Substance into Miami County Jail

A Miami County woman has been arrested for Trafficking with an Inmate and Dealing a Schedule III Controlled Substance. The Miami County Sheriff’s Office is investigating allegations that 28 year-old Jennifer Rairigh attempted to smuggle a controlled substance into the Miami County Jail. The substance was discovered concealed in property that was to be delivered to an inmate. Rairigh was incarcerated into the Miami County Jail yesterday. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges are anticipated.
