Ivy Tech awarded a federal grant

Ivy Tech Community College has been awarded a $2.6 million federal grant to train 330 disadvantaged youth and young adults in the areas of information technology and advanced manufacturing through the Ivy Tech Hires Program. The training will target unemployed and underemployed students between the ages of 17 and 29 years old. Additionally, Ivy Tech will work to recruit veterans into this program who fit the criteria as they leave the military.
