Smart Saver Program at University

Energy efficient equipment installed at Indiana University Kokomo earned nearly $80,000 in incentives from Duke Energy. The campus participated in the Smart $aver Incentive Program, which encourages the purchase and installation of high-efficiency lighting, heating and cooling systems, pumps and qualifying process, food service and information technology equipment. Kevin Johnston, Duke Energy’s Kokomo government and community relations manager, presented the check for just over 79 thousand dollars to Chancellor Susan Sciame-Giesecke.
