Cass Co. Redevelopment Commission Appropriates Funds for Heartland Truck Stop

Wednesday the Cass County Redevelopment Commission appropriated just over $278,000 towards a project at the Heartland Truck Stop. The business intends to install a new system that will clean and recycle water used for washing trucks. The funds will pay close to half of what is needed for the project, which should considerably lessen the odor in the area caused by the truck stop’s current method of disposal.
