Local Restaurant Closed Today as Part of Nationwide "Day without Immigrants" Movement

A popular local restaurant is joining a national grassroots movement today. Organizers of “A Day without Immigrants” have been urging businesses nationwide to participate in a one-day strike in response to President Trump’s crackdown on immigration.   La Fiesta restaurant on North Street in Logansport announced via Facebook last night that they will close their doors today in solidarity and support of our immigrant community. The movement has been organized nationally through social media and word of mouth and aims to highlight the importance of immigrants to our economy and communities.
