Investigators have received more than 11,000 tips related to the murder of Abigail Williams and Liberty German. Law enforcement continues to encourage the public to report tips about this investigation, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. But officials are asking the community to avoid reporting the same tip more than once. When someone contacts the tip line a second time with the same information, it requires screeners to re-enter data for evaluation resulting in duplication of effort. Yesterday Liberty German’s grandfather Mike Patty spoke publicly for the first time since the murders and pleaded with the public to again carefully review the photograph and audio clip retrieved from German’s cell phone.
