Area under Flood Watch as Rain Persists

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Cass County and much of Indiana through Friday evening as heavy rainfall is expected to persist through tomorrow morning. According to forecasters rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are likely. A flood warning has been extended for many rivers including the Eel River. The National Weather Service is reminding Hoosier to never drive vehicles through flooded areas and never allow children to play in or near flood waters.
