Gov. Holcomb Signs Remaining Bills

Governor Eric Holcomb wrapped up the 2017 legislative session Tuesday and signed all remaining bills on his agenda. The measures included legislation that closes a legal loophole used by the Ricker’s convenience store chain to sell cold beer, a bill that lowers the reimbursement for Hoosiers who install solar or wind power devices, a measure legalizing baby boxes in hospitals, and legislation allowing cell phone companies to erect micro cell phone towers to increase cell phone signal strength.
