Kokomo Police Search for Man Regarding Fatal Hit and Run

Kokomo authorities are searching for a man they believe to be involved in a hit and run crash that killed one woman early Sunday morning. Witnesses told police that a man began driving his red van towards individuals standing in the parking lot of Front Row Live eventually striking a car which in turn hit the victim. 42 year-old Alisa Burnett was a bartender at Front Row Live. The suspect is named Maurice C. Shelley, and he is described as a bald black male around 5 feet seven inches tall and weighing around 185 pounds. Shelley may be in the Kokomo or Indianapolis area. Anyone with information on Shelley’s whereabouts is asked to contact Kokomo authorities.
