Voters will have a chance to hear from the candidates for Logansport mayor, clerk-treasurer and city council during a political forum tonight (10/15) at McHale Performing Arts Center. It’s sponsored by the Logansport-Cass County Chamber of Commerce, League of Women Voters of Cass County and local media, including Mid-America Radio Group of Logansport. The free event begins at 6:30 tonight. If you can’t attend in person, you can catch it on WSAL 1230 AM or on our website at indianasbestradio.com. Voting for the Election begins Monday at the Cass County Government Building. You can request a ballot to vote absentee by mail from the Cass County Clerk’s Office but applications must be received by Oct. 26. If you are confined due to illness or injury or caring for a confined person at a private residence on Election Day, you can request to vote absentee by travel board. Applications must be received by the Cass County Clerk’s Office by noon on Monday, Nov. 2, 2015. There’s also a contested race in Royal Center this year.
