Logansport Student Concerts In August

The Logansport Community School Corporation Band Department will be performing two concerts in August. The Middle School Bands will present their summer concert on Wednesday, Aug. 3rd , in McHale Performing Arts Center at 7 pm. Featured performers will be the 6th grade Beginning Band, the Summer Middle School Band and the Summer Jazz Band. Admission is free. The LHS Marching Band will present their 2016 marching show on Thursday, Aug 4th , at 7pm in the LHS Football stadium. The show this year is: Berry Band Takes Broadway and the music will include selections from “WICKED”, “JERSEY BOYS”, and “WEST SIDE STORY”. The Music Boosters are holding a chicken bash preceding the concert from 4:30-6:30 at the LCSC Administration building on George St. You may wish to enjoy your Nelson’s Port-a- pit chicken dinner as you also enjoy the band performance. Admission is free.
