ARREST MADE IN JANUARY SHOOTING

Police have made an arrest in connection with a January shooting that left a Cass County businessman severely injured. Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff Department arrested Alyssa Kate Griffith, 21, Logansport, just before 10 p.m. Monday evening on a warrant alleging Level 6 felony charges of criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and pointing a firearm at another. The shooting occurred Jan. 8 in the residence of businessman Adam Scott, 36, of Twelve Mile After receiving a 911 call from Griffith, deputies arrived to find Scott lying on a bed suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Griffith is represented by attorney Andrew Achey. She entered a preliminary plea of not guilty at a hearing Monday in Cass County Superior Court 1 and bonded out of jail that morning.
