DUAL LANGUAGE IMMERSION KINDERGARTEN CLASS OFFERED AT LANDIS

Logansport Community School Corporation will be offering a dual language immersion Kindergarten class at Landis Elementary for the 2016-2017 school year. The class will be half native English speakers and half native Spanish speakers split into two sections. All of the students in the class will spend half of the day learning standards in English and half of the day in Spanish. The intention is to have the Kindergartners on track to being bilingual by the time they graduate 5th grade and subsequently open up opportunities for them later in life. The dual immersion class is available to any student in Logansport School Corporation who will be entering Kindergarten this fall.
