CHAMBER WELCOMES TWO NEW DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES

Yesterday the Logansport Cass County Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new businesses to downtown Logansport. JW Photography and Carly’s Creations will now occupy 420 High Street and 416 High Street.

JW Photography is owned and operated by Jen Walker, who says she has been a photographer for about eight years now. It started as a hobby for Walker, but about five years ago she began taking clients and the past three years have been very busy. The active Mom of three told us that this kind of fell into her lap unexpectedly, but she knew she had to go for it.

Carly Klotz of Carly’s Creations says her business is based on a multitude of different avenues. 99% of items in the store are made by hand, and consist of mainly amazing crafts or refurbished furniture or wood. The store features a focal wall made from barn wood was pulled off a barn built in 1879.  Klotz provides custom orders to a large customer base  and will continue to do so. Klotz also plans to hold craft nights, ladies nights, and even craft themed birthday parties.

The two businesses will join Hair to Dye For, who recently relocated to 422 High Street, for a joint open house tomorrow from 6 - 8 pm. Visitors to all three locations will be entered to win prizes.
